I have acne-prone skin, which is very pale and extremely sensitive. It’s a unique combination with an oily T-zone, sensitive and dry cheeks. From the age of 14 to 35, I battled not only with acne but also with persistent redness – around the nose and cheeks. For years, I struggled to understand my skin. I tried different methods, but the battle seemed never-ending until one day I made THE decision that I was afraid to take …
Now, at the age of 37, I’ve come to appreciate this mysterious organ – our skin. Finally, I’ve found joy in taking care of it. My journey involved some radical decisions, but they’ve been the best for me. Throughout my skincare journey, I sought information to help care for my skin and connect with others who’ve had similar experiences. However, I often found online information to be lacking.
I’m a skincare enthusiast who regularly visits the dermatologist for advice and treatements and in this blog, I’ll share weekly articles to inform, share my experiences/my concerns and maybe assist you too.
This blog will serve as a diary of my skincare routines but not only. I’ll discuss what works for my skin and also publish useful articles to help you understand the products available in the market. Product review, details of the ingredients, news from the skincare market, new trends, review trends, personal struggle, personal experience, personal routine, and more. My goal is to provide you with all the information you need to make informed decisions about skincare.
But, remember, you must understand your skin first, determine which products are best for YOU, and avoid blindly following online skincare influencers. It’s crucial to filter the information available online, including mine. Always seek diverse sources of information and listen to your skin. That’s the best advice I can offer!
I would like to have an exchange with my readers and you to share your concerns, your advice, what works and don’t work for you. I want a two-sided and honest communication to help more people as my experience could differ from yours!
Stay tuned for my first article next week where I’ll dive directly in the root of the cause… My first approach with acne!
See you soon, Beautifully Moi!
